March 9, 2010: A3IS has been awarded a task order by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) under the GSA Alliant Small Business contract to provide IT Security Support Services to include Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of Certification & Accreditation (C&A) Activities and IT Security Program Management Support. This is a 10 year (base year plus nine 1 year options) task order with a potential value in excess of $45M. Under this contract an A3IS Team will help the USPTO secure sensitive and critical informatiion assets and meet Title III, FISMA requirements.
